Travel News from Sue

Happy Fall Everyone!

First, a Bon Voyage and Safe Travels to all our travelers leaving in October and November!

October has traditionally been a slow vacation booking month. Several years ago the cruiselines started a promotion for World’s Largest Cruise Night; it was one day in October and they offered great sales.  The very short sale time created many problems for getting booking made and this year they have changed it to National Cruise Vacation Week, Oct. 17-23.  Most major cruiselines and some of the niche lines are offering some really good sales; some just for that week and others are valid all month.  I’ve created a special website for this; no promotions are listed, but I have a number of videos from different cruiselines so you can get an idea what they are all about.  There are huge differences between the lines, some are geared to families, some to adults, some to adventure/exploration, some casual and some formal.  Watch a couple of the videos and you can easily see the differences.

As some of you know, Facebook has recently made major some changes and the visits to our page have dropped considerably – I’m guessing if you didn’t interact in some manner with a recent post, you just aren’t seeing them.  I will be posting Cruise Vacation Week specials on Facebook daily, so you might want to click in to our Luxury Cruise & Travel page and do a Like or add a comment to a post so that you start seeing them again.

If you are planning a trip during the Holidays, book now as the ships and hotels are filling up.

If you are a garden/flower lover, you’ll want to consider visiting Floriade Festival in the Netherlands next year. It is only held every ten years.  We have been booking a number of trips that start or end with a visit to the Festival.
